Helps seniors and people with disabilities access the world around them through care focused transportation services. Their driver-providers are all trained in Basic Life Support, defensive driving, and undergo background checks. Their services include regular sedan transports – with a driver that will help customer in and out of vehicle. And wheelchair accessible vans for customers that are wheelchair bound.

Access Link
Access Link: Services for Persons with Disabilities. Access Link is a public transportation service developed to comply with the paratransit regulations of the ADA and is for people with disabilities who are unable to use the local NJ TRANSIT fixed route bus service. In order to use Access Link, you must first apply for eligibility and reservations are required. Access Link service is comparable to the bus in that it is a curb to curb service, charges a fare and is available during the same days and hours as the regularly scheduled local fixed route bus service, including weekends and holidays. If there is NJ TRANSIT bus service available, Access Link service will be available. If there is no NJ TRANSIT bus service, Access Link will not be available.

Ambutrust Medical Transportation Service
Transportation which accommodates stretcher, wheelchair, or ambulatory. Staff of EMTs, RNs, Paramedics, and other medical professionals will take you to any medical appointment, as well as hospital discharge. Accept Medicare and most insurance. American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey
The American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey provides transportation services in Montclair and Glen Ridge. These services are available to ambulatory senior citizens who are residents of Montclair and Glen Ridge and provide transport to medical and dental appointments, physical therapy, and dialysis treatments.

Bell Medical Transport
Bell Medical Transport specializes in regular stretcher transports, emergency/non-emergency ambulance transportation. They are a licensed Medicare, Medicaid and LogistiCare provider and accept most insurance. They also accept all forms of payment for private pay trips and offer discounts for all credit card payments.

Essex County Special Transportation
The Essex County Special Transportation System is a valuable resource that provides senior citizens and handicapped residents with safe transportation to and from their medical appointments. This transportation System offers a curb to curb service. This service is free of charge to eligible patients. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. When scheduling an appointment please call at least 2 days in advance but no more than 2 weeks in advance. When calling for a pick up please have your appointment date, time and location ready. Also have the name of the doctor you will be seeing and their phone number. Essex County Special Transportation also offers shopping trips one day a week for certain areas. Shopping trips are scheduled on Wednesdays. For Fairfield, Essex Fells, Roseland, Verona, Cedar Grove and Caldwell they will take you to The Passaic Ave. ShopRite Plaza & area stores. For Montclair, Glen Ridge and Bloomfield they will take you to Lackawanna Plaza Pathmark and area stores.

The Community Cars program offers seniors curb-to-curb transportation from volunteers Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM. Membership is $15 per year; fees are between .50 and $1 per mile. EZ RIDE Cars are marked with their logo.

LogistiCare Medical Transportation
LogistiCare provides transportation for patients on Medicaid. LogistiCare coordinates Non-emergency Transportation to covered medical services. LogistiCare Coordinates livery service (curb to curb), mobility assistance service (including wheelchair), and non-emergency ambulance services. Driver of livery vehicles will meet the client at the curb. Drivers of mobility assistance vehicles will assist clients into and out of buildings or residences.

Medical Transport of Verona
Will pick patient up and drop them off to medical appointments only. This is a self-pay service. Rates vary according to where the appointment is but the cost is usually between $5 – $15. They will only pick up in Verona and Cedar Grove Monday through Friday 9:00 am-2:30 pm.

Montclair Rehabilitation Organization
Will pick up and drop off patient to medical appointments only. This is a self-pay service. The cost is $30 round trip. They will pick up in Bloomfield, Cedar Grove, Glen Ridge, Orange, East Orange, West Orange, Verona and Montclair.

Medical transportation including wheelchair van, basic life support and advanced life support ambulance services

Ryde4Life
You can now use Ryde4Life for grocery shopping and medical visits free of charge, while the Montclair Senior Bus remains suspended due to COVID19. The only requirement is that you have a functioning cell phone which can receive calls when your ride arrives. EZRide will arrange and then monitor the rides provided by either Lyft or Uber. Service is available Monday through Friday 8AM – 8PM and Saturday 8AM – 5PM.

The Caring Coach
The service is geared for the mobility challenged, handicapped, and others that need arm-in-arm, door-to-door assistance in getting where you need to go whether medical or concierge. The program does not provide wheelchair bound services.
